A map that works without an account.

OpenFreightMap does not currently require registration, set advertising cookies or store personal map searches in an application database.

Server logs

Like most websites, the hosting server may temporarily record technical request information such as IP address, requested path, browser identification and time. These logs are used for security, reliability and diagnostics.

Map and data providers

The map loads cartography and font resources from third-party map infrastructure. Those providers receive the technical network information required to serve the requested resources. Do not enter personal or confidential information into the search field.

AI-assisted location searches

When a search is written as a location description, its text may be sent to OpenAI for interpretation and the resulting place queries to a geocoding provider for verification. OpenFreightMap requests that the AI response is not stored and does not save these descriptions in an application database. Do not use this feature for personal, confidential or sensitive addresses.

Clipboard and location

Copy and Share buttons write only the selected postcode codes or page link to your clipboard. The current version does not request your precise device location.
