Transparent sources, practical postcode zones.

The map is a planning reference. Postcode systems differ by country, and broad logistics prefixes are not administrative boundaries.

Postcode locations

European postcode locations and locality names are derived from the GeoNames postal code download, available under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. Zone centres are calculated from the available locations in each prefix group.

Boundary layers

Germany currently includes a PLZ2 polygon reference layer. Other countries are shown as clearly labelled zone centres until reliable, reusable boundary datasets are added. A centre marker must not be interpreted as an exact postal boundary.
